What You Will Need

• Screwdriver
• Non-contact voltage tester
• Wire stripper
• Wire connectors (included)
• Step ladder
• Drill (only if working with a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Disconnect the Power

At the breaker panel, turn off the circuit supplying the ceiling light location. Use a voltage tester to confirm the wires are no longer carrying current.

Step 2: Detach the Cover

Most flush mount fixtures include a removable outer shade or diffuser. Carefully twist or unclip this piece to reveal the mounting plate and wiring area.

Step 3: Fasten the Mounting Bracket

Attach the included bracket to the junction box using the supplied screws. Ensure the bracket sits securely and level.

Step 4: Complete the Wiring

Match the fixture leads with the ceiling wires:

• Black (hot) to black
• White (neutral) to white
• Green or bare copper (ground) to the ground wire or grounding screw

Secure each connection with a wire connector and fold the wires neatly into the junction box.

Step 5: Position the Fixture Base

Lift the base into place and align it with the mounting bracket. Tighten the provided screws so the fixture sits flush and level against the ceiling.

Step 6: Replace the Cover

Reattach the shade or diffuser following the fixture's design — this may involve twisting, clipping, or fastening with small screws.

Step 7: Restore Power and Verify

Re-energize the circuit at the breaker panel. Test the fixture with the wall switch to confirm proper operation.
