Overview

• Configuration Options: The magnetic track system supports four installation methods: Plaster-in (trimless), Embedded (recessed), Surface-mounted, and Suspended (hanging). Select the approach that best suits your ceiling structure and design vision.
• Power Supply: Connects to a ceiling or wall junction box through an integrated power feed. Some configurations may use a remote or surface-mounted driver box.
• Fixture Attachment: Light modules lock magnetically into the track channel and can be repositioned or swapped at any time without tools.
• Ceiling Compatibility: Compatible with both flat and sloped ceilings.
• Dimming: Many light modules support dimming. Always confirm compatibility with your power driver and wall dimmer before installation.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Disconnect the Power

Turn off the electricity at your breaker panel. Confirm the circuit is dead with a voltage tester at the junction box before proceeding.

Step 2: Choose Your Mounting Method and Prepare the Surface

• Plaster-in (Trimless): Cut and frame the ceiling to embed the track channel flush with the drywall. After installation, apply joint compound around the edges, sand smooth, and paint to create a seamless finish.
• Embedded (Recessed): Cut a slot in the ceiling that fits the track body. Slide the channel into the opening and screw it into the joists or framing through the pre-drilled mounting holes.
• Surface-Mounted: Position the track directly on the ceiling surface and anchor it with screws through the pre-drilled holes.
• Hanging (Suspended): Mark and measure suspension points on the ceiling. Install ceiling toggles or anchor bolts, then attach hanging wires to the track body. Adjust to the desired drop height before locking everything down.

Step 3: Wire the Power Feed

At the power feed end of the track, connect the ceiling wires to the fixture wires:

• Black (hot) to black
• White (neutral) to white
• Green or bare copper (ground) to ground

Cap each connection with a wire connector. Tuck the wires into the junction box and close the power feed cover.

Step 4: Join Additional Track Segments (if applicable)

For layouts that include corners or extended runs, connect track segments using magnetic or mechanical connectors. Ensure electrical continuity by aligning the internal copper conductors.

• I-Connector: Joins two straight track sections in a straight line.
• L-Connector (Ceiling to Ceiling): Creates a 90-degree turn between ceiling-mounted tracks.
• L-Connector (Ceiling to Wall): Transitions from a ceiling-mounted section to a wall-mounted section.
• T-Connector: Enables a three-way branch for more complex layouts.

Step 5: Attach the Light Modules

Once the track is powered, snap the magnetic light modules into the channel. The magnets provide both a mechanical hold and an electrical connection. Modules can be added, removed, or repositioned at any time.

Step 6: Restore Power and Verify

Turn the breaker back on. Use the wall switch or connected dimmer to activate the system. Confirm that every module illuminates properly and that dimming or directional adjustment functions work as expected.

• Use only compatible magnetic fixtures and drivers as specified in your product guide.
• Trimless and embedded installations are best performed during construction or remodeling.
• For suspended configurations, verify the weight capacity of ceiling anchors and cables.
• Avoid overtightening screws near trimless or recessed edges to preserve a flush finish.
• For complex multi-zone layouts, consult a licensed electrician or lighting designer.
